Sentimentality
I have a treasure box Grandma Haynie gave me when I was pretty young. I keep my old baby blanket and pillow in there amongst some other silly childhood toys and nicknacks. So what' the point? What does being sentimental mean to you? Why do you suppose we need sentimental things around us? Why do we keep those little momentos? What is excessive, too inexcessive, healthy, unhealthy when it comes to our need to be nostalgic?

Treasures are just that--something that triggers a precious time or memory. If you love it enough, you will find a place for it and a way to keep it preserved. Too much stuff is when you have to pay to have it moved and you discover it really isn't worth it. Or you need the room for something more important.
If you save candy wrappers, that is too far.
I once saved a package of candy. What a fool I was. When I rediscovered I had it, 4 years had one by and I was not brave enough to eat it. Chocolate, it's a terrible thing to waste...
Somethings are best enjoyed in the moment, that is for sure.
I would like another "moment" with a fresh package of peanut butter m&m's.....
That actually sounds weird.
Sariah, I think your husband is having an affair.
