Second Vehicle Option

Time is ticking down fast.  We decided that a second vehicle will not only give me a little freedom but we don't have to buy a bigger expensive vehicle that'll guzzle gas like a sailor guzzles brew.  Something more economical for William to drive to work and school and church is what we need. So what do you think about this beaut?  It has 200,000 miles, its a 1990-ish honda civic.  The owner said it needs a new transmission and a key for the ignition.  For just $300 it's ours if we tow it off the drive way!

Why tow it off the driveway, it's already there! You could always buy another little beater car and tow the Civic with a rope. Then you'd have room for everyone. I've never seen as many people towing their own cars as I do in Utah,

I just have no comment on this.... No comment at all...

Can we give it racing stripes?

oooh weee! Look at that once finely tuned, hand crafted, 1990ish marvel of mechanical engineering! The body looks like its in pretty good shape. I have been looking at a similar one here in Texas. 200k is a LOT of miles but, the price is right. I do have a Utah Honda engine and parts connection if you would like. just give me a call. Psst. Dont look now, but your tires need some air:)

So, with 2 cars, how would you travel on vacation? Bring both cars? I don't think you should buy the car. Sorry but there is no guarantee that even with the new transmission it would run well. Then the fact to buy a new transmission and have it installed is another $2000-$3000. I understand having to have another car, I just think maybe spend a little more money on a car you can test drive and make sure it runs well.

Forget racing stripes, it needs flames. Or you could just pimp it out like all the other gangbanger cars around here.

I like the idea of flames--but they would probably be real ones. I am hoping some drunk with hit my old Dodge and I can collect the insurance. Maybe she should repark it in the street and hope the same.

Okay, I've posted the "big reveal" or "big news" on my web log. Come and see!
